Pro setup & onboarding

Becoming a professional on VIPvybz takes a few minutes. Pick your business type, follow the QuickStart guide, unlock Pro (Connect Stripe or subscribe), and you're ready to take bookings.

Choose your business type

The first time you set up as a pro, VIPvybz asks you to pick a vertical template. The picker includes massage, esthetics, salon/beauty, tattoo, coaching, training, wellness, and curling. Tutoring and house cleaning still set services by hand.

  1. On the business type screen, select the option that best matches your work.
  2. The template applies helpful presets (like example services and circles) so you start faster.
  3. You can skip this and set everything up manually if you prefer.

You can change your business type later from Profile → Business type.

The QuickStart guide

New pros get a one-time QuickStart walkthrough that highlights the key steps in order:

  1. Connect Stripe to unlock Pro free (or subscribe to Pro).
  2. Set up your Services.
  3. Create your first Vybz (bookable session).
  4. Boost a session to notify clients.
  5. Send VIP invites to your clients.
  6. Turn on Discover visibility.
  7. Add your Team, organize Circles, and set up gift cards and inventory.

Unlock Pro

Core professional tools require Pro access. Connect Stripe (charges enabled) unlocks Pro free so you can take cards on VIPvybz—including your first business location. Or subscribe to a Pro plan if you want Pro without Connect. Add-ons (team, circles, analytics, and more) stay optional paid upgrades.

  1. Follow Set up Stripe Connect (Profile → Client Payments in the app), or open Profile → Subscriptions / Billing to buy Pro without Connect.
  2. Add any add-ons you need from Subscriptions / Billing.
  3. Store purchases go through the App Store or Google Play (or Stripe on the web portal) and sync to your account.

Recommended setup order

  1. Unlock Pro (Connect Stripe or subscribe) — a Main location is created automatically.
  2. Add your first service (name, price, duration).
  3. Set open hours (availability windows) or create a special session.
  4. Invite your VIP clients
  5. Share a public booking link, and turn on Discover only if you want new clients to find you
